Saint Laurent Le 61 Framed Saddle Bag

Saint Laurent quietly introduced the Le 61 sometime last year, a discreet full leather beauty that comes with a medallion logo right in front that’s less focused on branding and more about its sleek silhouette that’s totally easy on the eyes. Now, if you’re thinking to yourself why the bag’s named Le 61, that pays homage to the year the luxury house was founded, taking you right into the era of sharp and polished tuxedo jackets which Monsieur Yves Saint Laurent pioneered back in the day.

Good looks aside, the Le 61 is truly built for both work and play, made for today’s woman who’s all about getting a bag that will take her easily from day to night in no time at all. One of its plus points would be its structured shape, coming in full calfskin leather that’s known for its strength and ability to withstand the test of time. There’s only one way of carrying the bag, by utilising the crossbody strap which is perfect for nights when you need to stay hands-free for all your glasses of champagne and canapés after work.

This year, the Le 61 gets a fresh new update with extra gold-tone detailing around the logo, giving you an extra option if you prefer a pop of shine on the monogram medallion sitting on the front flap. Called the Le 61 Framed Saddle Bag, it comes in two sizes, Small and Medium, which measure 18.6 cm by 16 cm and 23 cm by 18.5 cm respectively. Both bags open via a magnetic snap closure to an accordion-like interior, coming with two flat pockets front and back, as well as a roomy central compartment that’s perfect for keeping the main bulk of your essentials.

Both sizes are currently up for pre-orders on Saint Laurent’s online store, and you can hit the links here, and here to confirm your order. Take note that payment will only be made when the bag has been dispatched to you, and Saint Laurent has indicated that shipping will be made no later than 30 April 2020.
