Now, if you’re thinking to yourself why the bag’s named Le 61, that pays homage to the year the luxury house was founded, taking you right into the era of sharp and polished tuxedo jackets which Monsieur Yves Saint Laurent pioneered back in the day.

This year, the Le 61 gets a fresh new update with extra gold-tone detailing around the logo, giving you an extra option if you prefer a pop of shine on the monogram medallion sitting on the front flap. Called the Le 61 Framed Saddle Bag, it comes in two sizes, Small and Medium, which measure 18.6 cm by 16 cm and 23 cm by 18.5 cm respectively. Both bags open via a magnetic snap closure to an accordion-like interior, coming with two flat pockets front and back, as well as a roomy central compartment that’s perfect for keeping the main bulk of your essentials.
