For its latest iteration, it unfurls into the extra-large Wander Matelassé suede bag. This move subtly recalibrates its essence in a shift from more petite counterparts.
With an inherently tactile nature that’s rather less formal than polished leather, suede imparts an approachable warmth. It drapes effortlessly while giving it a casual and versatile attitude Miu Miu fans love. The distinctive matelassé motif, usually a hallmark of structured elegance, also takes on a softer, more inviting dimension.
Measuring 35 cm across and 27 cm high, this rendition is officially the biggest in the Wander family. With a wide opening that fits comfortably around the arm, it comes in three colours that evoke popular café beverages. There’s a rich chocolate Cocoa Brown and delectable matcha-like Ivy Green, while Olive Green takes on a light brown shade reminiscent of milky latte.
