Watches And Wonders 2025 unveils the latest chapter in Cartier Privé. Year after year, the limited collection woos watch aficionados with modern interpretations of the maison’s horological icons. For 2025, the spotlight shines brightly on Tank à Guichets, a timepiece that first graced wrists in 1928.

Exemplifying Cartier’s technical prowess and design ingenuity, the reimagined watch dares to eschew traditional hands for a digital display. Powering it is the specially developed 9755 MC calibre, a hand-wound movement orchestrating jumping hours and dragging minutes.

Faithful to the original, the new Tank à Guichets retains its distinctive display. This finds the hour window at the 12 o’clock mark and the minute window at six o’clock, while the winding crown perches at the apex of the case. The interplay between satin-finished case and polished horizontal brancards further accentuates its architectural silhouette.

The new timepiece comes in rose gold, yellow gold and platinum options, but no collection is complete without an interpretation that pushes the boundaries. Hence a fourth rendition features oblique apertures, an angular approach that injects dynamism and modernity into the classic design. The ultimate pièce de résistance of this year’s Cartier Privé line-up is limited to a mere 200 pieces.

Cartier’s Tank à Guichets serves as a reminder that in the realm of haute horlogerie, timepieces transcend functionality to become enduring works of art. In Singapore, the rose gold and yellow gold styles come in at SGD69,000, while platinum iterations go for SGD80,000 and SGD88,000.
