Louis Vuitton launches an exclusive beauty range uniting artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière and makeup artist Dame Pat McGrath. What sets La Beauté Louis Vuitton apart from a typical beauty tie-in is the history behind it. Unlike new collaborators introduced for a marketing moment, the duo have worked side by side for years, with McGrath translating each runway collection’s mood onto the models’ faces before they hit the catwalk.

The collection centres around two distinct beauty stories drawn from iconic canvases. Monogram Dune leans into soft beiges, sun-warmed nudes and a quiet, unforced elegance.

Monogram Infrarouge, by contrast, is its deliberate opposite. Bold, saturated and unapologetic, it revolves around the deep black and vivid red of the Infrarouge canvas.

Each La Beauté Louis Vuitton canvas comes with its own trio of products, two complementary expressions of the same woman. For Dune, the LV Ombres 724 eyeshadow palette carries four shades: icy white, rose gold, hematite grey and anise. Its Infrarouge counterpart, the LV Ombres 715, deepens into rosy beige, cool taupe, sparkling anthracite and a velvety burgundy.

Satin lipsticks then follow suit. LV Rouge 724 offers a warm rosy beige for Dune, while Infrarouge reimagines the house red in a blackcurrant-tone LV Rouge 715. Lastly, topper lip balms round out each set. LV Baume 098 Stellar Veil brings luminous, weightless shimmer for Dune, while LV Baume 099 Galactic Veil delivers a bolder holographic glitter finish for Infrarouge.

The collection launches online from 20 August 2026. Prices start at SGD265 for the satin lipstick and lip balm. The eyeshadow palette retails at SGD470, while the magnifying paper case, complete with built-in mirror and card slot, goes for SGD850. True to Louis Vuitton’s leather goods heritage, the collection also extends into SLGs.

At 11 cm by 6 cm, the Cosmetic Lipstick Pouch (SGD745) doubles as a bag charm via its gold-tone hook and chain. For those hunting the slimmest Nice yet, the Nice Beauty (SGD1200) is surely a contender. Measuring 13.5 cm by 11.5 cm, it offers space for lip products and eyeshadow compacts. A dedicated Lip & Eye Brush Set (SGD1620) rounds out the SLG offerings, its S-lock securing five beauty tools and a travel mirror.

More than a beauty launch, La Beauté Louis Vuitton brings a longstanding backstage partnership to the front of house. Together, Dame Pat McGrath and Nicolas Ghesquière prove that the best collaborations are not manufactured. They evolve.
