Created in 1924, Cartier’s Trinity celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. More than just jewellery, it’s a symbol of the brand’s core values of diversity and unity. Three interlocking bands in yellow, rose and white gold represent the strength found in connection, a message that resonates as powerfully today as it did a century ago.
Courtesy of Louis Cartier, the Trinity ring was a groundbreaking design that broke from tradition and ushered in a new era of modern jewellery. Transcending trends and boundaries, Trinity was neither age-restrictive nor did it conform to social classes. Instead, it was a universal symbol of love, reflecting the spirit of the three Cartier brothers who built the brand.

Indeed, the true genius of the Trinity lies in its adaptability, something Cartier continues to showcase over the years. From delicate bands to bold, wider designs, and even forays into unexpected materials, the Trinity never shies away from evolution. In this vein, and to mark the momentous occasion of its centennial, Cartier unveils a series of new Trinity designs.
Highlights include a reimagining of the XL Bracelet from the 2000s and an XL version of the classic ring, as well as a cushion-shaped iteration. There's also a modular version that allows for playful transformability, with diamonds and bold geometric shapes adding contemporary flair. The three interlocking bands can be worn individually or together, letting you choose to either showcase or hide the bling.
