You already know the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air well. Both remain tried-and-tested pillars within Apple’s core lineup. Now, however, Apple sets its sights on a whole new audience demographic. Here comes the MacBook Neo, an entry-level model that feels accessible, stylish and refreshingly modern.

Four colours define the MacBook Neo experience. Choose from Blush Pink, Citrus Yellow, Indigo Blue and the timeless Silver. Each arrives with a colour-coordinated keyboard for a cohesive look. Meanwhile, a recycled aluminium frame ensures durability and supports sustainability. Inside, a 13-inch Liquid Retina display delivers vivid visuals with brightness up to 500 nits.
For everyday communication, the 1080p FaceTime HD camera handles video calls with ease. Dual side-firing speakers and microphones also enhance audio playback and voice clarity. At the same time, Apple retains the headphone jack, so you can plug in wired earphones without hunting for adapters.
Powering everything is the A18 Pro chip, which keeps daily tasks running smoothly. Managing emails, streaming videos and building presentations all feel effortless. Of course, the MacBook Air or MacBook Pro still handle demanding programmes like Adobe’s suite better. Instead, the MacBook Neo targets digital nomads who value portability and up to 16 hours of battery life on a single charge.
Prices begin at just SGD849 for the 256 GB MacBook Neo. Meanwhile, the 512 GB version with Magic Keyboard and Touch ID reaches SGD999. Students can also enjoy a slight discount through Apple’s Education Store, making the MacBook Neo even more accessible.
