The Parfum-Jardins collection is a firm favourite within Hermès tight edit of perfumes. Its transportive eau de toilette line-up embodies the soul of a place and leads one on journeys that satisfy the desire for freshness and escape.

Its latest addition, Un Jardin à Cythère, is the 7th scent in the range. It also marks in-house perfumer Christine Nagel’s second addition to the collection. Her first was the Venice-inspired floral woody Un Jardin sur la Lagune in 2019. The other five fragrances before that were created by her predecessor, Jean-Claude Ellena. Those commenced with the floral aquatic Un Jardin en Méditerranée from 2003 that walks one through a secret Tunisian garden.

Just like the other Parfum-Jardins creations that take you on an olfactive journey, the new Un Jardin à Cythère will whisk you away to the Grecian island of Kythira. The poetic blend re-imagines the picturesque island and its dry garden of tall golden grasses in a bottle. Combining the enveloping notes of grass, strength of olivewood and tenderness of fresh pistachio, it provides an uplifting experience. The citrus and woody cocktail is presented in the iconic lantern-shape glass bottle to showcase the sun-drenched juice. Accompanying it is a beautiful box showcasing an illustration by Greek artist Elias Kafouros, who brings the garden to life.

Un Jardin à Cythère comes in three sizes: 30 ml (SGD110), 50 ml (SGD160) and 100 ml (SGD228), as well as a 200 ml refill (SGD326). Find them at Hermès boutiques, its beauty counters within Takashimaya Department Store and TANGS at Tang Plaza, as well as online via Hermès Singapore. Can’t get enough of the reverie-inducing composition that serves up a slice of Greece? Then extend the experience with matching bath products. These include perfumed soap (SGD43 for 100 g), shower gel (SGD94 for 200 ml), and body lotion (SGD108 for 200 ml).
