A single spritz of fragrance can shift your mood before you even have time to think. Scent works on memory and emotion more directly than almost anything else we wear, and Chanel’s latest release leans into that power. With Paris — St. Moritz, the newest addition to Les Eaux de Chanel, the house captures what a place makes you feel. In this case, warmth, comfort and a sense of home.
Les Eaux de Chanel has always worked like a travel diary. Since 2018, each fragrance ties to a place that mattered to Gabrielle Chanel, Biarritz, Deauville, Venice, the Riviera and Edinburgh amongst them. They share a light, airy character inspired by classic eaux de cologne, and most lean on sunshine and citrus.
But the newest chapter, Paris — St. Moritz, goes somewhere colder. Gabrielle spent days on the slopes and evenings in hotel salons with friends, and sharing conversations with writer Paul Morand. Life there felt stripped of everything unnecessary, and she found a kind of inner uplift. Olivier Polge, Chanel’s perfumer-creator, translates that sense into a warm scent that lightly wraps around you. Rather like your favourite sweater, it’s soft, cocooning and instantly familiar.
The fragrance is built on three elements. Pear brings a juicy, green freshness at the start. Rose, handled with a light touch, reveals spicy and mineral sides that can feel almost abstract. A musky-amber accord rounds out the base, keeping warmth lingering on the skin. Olivier Polge likens the scent on the skin to a kaleidoscope. On some wearers the pear shines, while on others the musky depth leads from the first spray.
Paris — St. Moritz launches in Singapore on 15 October 2026. Chanel's Fragrance & Beauty boutiques in ION Orchard, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, VivoCity, JEM, Parkway Parade and Raffles City will carry it. So will the Chanel beauty counter in Takashimaya Department Store and the official online store. The eau de toilette comes in two sizes: 50 ML at SGD180 and 125 ML at SGD260.
