Two heritage names from very different corners of fashion come together for a joint footwear capsule. Birkenstock brings its iconic contoured footbed, while Etro contributes its signature paisley prints. The Birkenstock x Etro collaboration first appeared on the runway at Etro’s fall-winter 2026 show during Milan Fashion Week. It is now finally rolling out worldwide.

The first release focuses on two of Birkenstock’s best-known silhouettes. The Boston clog, introduced in 1976 and turning 50 this year, receives a full Etro makeover. Joining it is the Gizeh thong sandal, which dates back to 1983. Both arrive in suede and nappa leather for this exclusive collaboration.
Etro’s decorative vocabulary runs through both styles in full force. Paisley patterns, embroidered details and long fringe sit alongside Western-style buckles made especially for the project. Rivets stamped with the iconic Pegasus emblem complete the picture. Altogether, the capsule pairs Birkenstock’s practical, no-fuss construction with Etro’s love of ornamentation.
Beneath the styling, comfort stays true to Birkenstock’s DNA. Every pair retains the anatomically shaped cork-latex footbed. The collaboration even extends to the sole, where the familiar bone-shaped tread meets a paisley pattern. The palette, meanwhile, is restrained, built on taupe and chocolate brown, with polished hardware and metallic touches adding a modern accent.
Sizes run from 35 to 47. The first Birkenstock x Etro drop comprises two styles: the Boston Embroidery at SGD850 and the Gizeh Fringes at SGD900. The Boston comes in both narrow and regular widths, while the Gizeh arrives in regular only.
