Come 8 October 2026, Rimowa turns to the artist’s palette once again with two new seasonal colours. Both pigments with deep roots in the history of painting join the brand’s Essential and Groove lineups. Umber is a warm shade drawn from the earth, while Ultramarine is a prized blue made from lapis lazuli.

Both colours rank amongst the most enduring in an artist’s toolkit, and Rimowa builds this season’s collection around that heritage. Umber is a glowing brown that painters often apply as the first layer of a work. It translates from the Latin ‘umbra’, meaning shadow, and casts warm, grounded tones. Ultramarine, meanwhile, is a vivid blue that artists have used since the Renaissance: deep, velvety and hypnotic.
Both hues land across the Essential range, the brand’s iconic polycarbonate suitcase line. Colour-matching details range from handles and zips to logo badge and wheel housing, thus creating a seamless monochrome finish. Four sizes are available: Essential Cabin, Check-In M, Check-In L and Trunk Plus. Each comes with a stage-free telescoping handle, Multiwheel® system, TSA-approved locks and adjustable Flex Divider. A leather address tag and Rimowa’s lifetime guarantee complete the package.
The Groove collection, meanwhile, brings Umber to the Cross-Body Bag and Zipped Pouch. Meanwhile, the Mini Shopping Bag comes in both colourways. All Groove pieces are crafted from smooth calfskin leather with shiny palladium hardware, chic, versatile and great for the everyday. Accessories round out the offerings, with items such as packing cubes and the trifold toiletry pouch all arriving in Ultramarine.
In Singapore, Umber and Ultramarine prices start at SGD170 for the Small Packing Cube. The Small Groove Cross-Body Bag retails at SGD1600, while suitcases begin at SGD1330 for the Essential Cabin. The Check-In M, Check-In L and Trunk Plus retail at SGD1530, SGD1600 and SGD2080 respectively.
