Tied at the neck, knotted through belt loops, wrapped around bag handles or worn as a headscarf. Silk changes character entirely with each hand that ties it. Celine’s Infinite Possibilities campaign puts this versatility front and centre, following last year’s collectable charms edition. This time, a rotating cast of silk squares, bandanas and lavallières takes the lead, styled across both menswear and womenswear.

Shot by Eijin Ota, who, in one particularly charming frame even puts silk on a dog, the campaign lets the range speak for itself. Some models style theirs high and structured, almost architectural, while others let the fabric fall loose and undone. That deliberate spread reflects the campaign’s title, since the ways of wearing silks are, by design, uncountable.

What underpins the Infinite Possibilities range is the cloth itself. Celine weaves its silks from a denser, more substantial twill than the featherlight fabrics typically found in scarves. That extra heft gives each piece added structure, draping rather than collapsing flat.

And rather than introducing new motifs, the collection draws on the house’s own visual vocabulary. The Triomphe emblem, Sulky horse-and-carriage motif, chain-link patterns, ribbon-stripe details and the C logo recur across the range. These are prints designed to feel timeless, essential for a growing silk wardrobe rather than a seasonal one-off. The range also centres around three core shapes.

The classic 90 Square (from SGD800) works as a headscarf, bandeau top or knotted simply at the neck. Meanwhile, the 55 cm by 55 cm Bandana (from SGD425) is ideal as a neckerchief or threaded through a bag strap. The Lavallière (from SGD360) takes a different form altogether. Tied in a loose bow at the neck, the long, narrow silk strip draws on the tradition of the classic French cravat.

All three formats share a consistent 100 percent silk construction. In an era where individuality often lives in small, considered details rather than head-to-toe looks, Celine’s Infinite Possibilities collection offers exactly that. One object, with quite literally infinite ways to wear it.
