For Dior’s fall-winter 2026 collection, creative director Jonathan Anderson introduces a bag with serious ambition. The Dior Promenade shopping bag is poised to sit amongst established classics like the Book Tote, Lady Dior and Saddle. Structured but never stiff, it carries boxy proportions that feel built for daily life.
The maison’s signature stitching ripples across the exterior in a treatment called Flat Cannage. The pattern creates a subtle textured print on both leather and suede versions. At the heart of the bag, a petite bow takes centrestage. It is a modern wink to Monsieur Dior’s affection for ribbons, now transformed into a signature flourish across the house’s latest accessories.

Polish meets practicality in the Dior Promenade. The interior offers enough room for daily essentials, while the adjustable strap shifts easily from shoulder to crossbody. Material-wise, options span smooth calfskin, soft suede and also the iconic #DiorOblique jacquard canvas. Swapping the Cannage stitching for the #DiorOblique motif, it offers a different visual register entirely.
Colours range from Black to muted pastels and rich, warmer-leaning tones, giving the bag versatility to move between seasons. The shopping bag arrives in mini, small and medium sizes, with prices starting at SGD3600 for the #DiorOblique jacquard versions. Beyond the shopping silhouette, the lineup includes a flap bag, as well as a pouch and mini bag. Each comes fitted with chain slings for a different carrying style.
With its range of materials, sizes and carrying options, the Dior Promenade has the makings of a genuine everyday icon. Anderson appears intent on giving Dior’s women a bag that earns its place through use rather than occasion. It is surely one of the most complete new launches from the house this season.
