Rather than relying on overt seasonal themes or prints, The Row works in quiet increments, subtly shifting proportions and reconsidering materials. When the Agnes 12 debuted in 2025, it gained attention for its minimalist silhouette, designed by the Olsen twins to sit comfortably in the crook of the arm. Now, for summer 2026, the new Agnes 15 expands on that idea.
The larger iteration carries everything familiar about its predecessor, while relaxing further into ease. The extra width creates room, and not just in a literal sense, though there is now space for a laptop. It also introduces a kind of visual breathing room, allowing the trapezoidal silhouette to settle more naturally against the body. Much like the Agnes 12, it is softly structured, offering posture but not stiffness.
The Agnes 15 also comes in several materials, each telling a different story. Saddle leather gradually darkens with exposure, rewarding patience with a surface that becomes unmistakably personal. Meanwhile, the pressed texture of saddle-grained leather resists daily wear effectively, sparing worry over scratches or splashes. Then comes supple nubuck, buffed to a velvety matte surface that absorbs rather than reflects light.
However, it is the curved top zipper closure that remains perhaps the most intriguing detail. Traditional zippers on structured bags are almost always straight, following the top seam without deviation. Here, the zipper instead traces the gentle curve of the silhouette, draping softly towards the sides to create a more relaxed appearance overall.
For those needing a size comparison, the Agnes 15 measures 45 cm wide and 25 cm high, while the Agnes 12 comes in at 33 cm by 15 cm. Though part of the same family, the difference in scale feels significant. Both styles are currently available globally and at The Row’s online store, which ships to Singapore, as well as through Club 21 and Dover Street Market.
