Miu Miu recently unveiled its spring-summer 2026 At Work campaign, which introduced the Vivant. Positioned as a new alternative to the cargo-heavy Utilitaire bag, it signals a shift in mood. True to its name that means “alive” in French, the Vivant is designed to bring energy to daily routines.
Reimagining the classic bowler, Miu Miu trades rigid, boxy corners for a sculptural trapezoidal silhouette. As a result, the bag sits gently against the body, marrying comfort with modern elegance. While existing hits like the Wander play with feminine matelassé textures, this new style leans into a rugged, almost masculine durability.
In many ways, it responds to growing fatigue with micro bags that hold almost nothing. Instead, the Vivant offers ample space for real life. Currently available in a single size, it measures 40 cm at its widest and 24 cm high. Large enough for an iPad, documents and a life’s worth of clutter, it’s a practical companion for those constantly on the go.
Crafted in calfskin or suede iterations, it also arrives with a beautiful pre-loved patina straight out of the box. Meanwhile, the elongated top handles let you tuck the bag neatly under the arm. This styling echoes the effortless, insouciant attitude that defined the Miu Miu runway this season.
If anyone questions the Vivant’s staying power, its presence on Miu Miu’s recent fall-winter 2026 showcase offers reassurance. Set to launch soon in Singapore, the Cognac brown calfskin version will retail for SGD5600.
