When the models stepped onto Balenciaga’s spring-summer 2026 runway, all eyes focused on Pierpaolo Piccioli’s debut accessory for the maison. The creative director took the curved geometry of Cristóbal Balenciaga’s Spanish bolero jacket and translated it into leather. The result is the Bolero bowling bag that plays with volume and proportion while feeling historic yet fresh.

Most notably, the architectural zip closure defines the silhouette. The zipper encircles the entire upper edge and opens to reveal a lambskin-lined, cavernous interior for all your daily essentials. Then, look closer and you will find a concealed pocket that’s easily accessible through the bottom recess. Smart and secretive, it’s ideal for your mobile phone and other quick-access needs.
Another significant feature is the new Bolero B logo on the handles. Four mirroring B metal emblems create a sharp, graphic accent. For now, smooth calfskin with a soft sheen leads the lineup, though fans may recall leopard variations from the runway. You can carry the Bolero by its top handles, tuck it under the arm or attach the crossbody strap for hands-free ease.
In terms of scale, the bowling bag comes in two sizes, both now available in Singapore. The mini (SGD4190) measures 30 cm by 16 cm, while the medium (SGD5150) measures 44 cm by 21 cm. Both arrive in colours such as Black, Curry and Pink.
With the Bolero, Pierpaolo Piccioli makes Balenciaga feel romantic again without losing its edge. Curves soften the attitude, while structure keeps it sharp. Ultimately, heritage codes meet modern proportions in a confident, wearable form.
