On the grand stage of the Champs-Élysées, Polène introduces its new flagship store. Designed by Korean architectural firm WGNB, this two-storey space is a masterful composition of serene columns and curves. Spanning 450 sqm, it establishes a majestic yet intimate canvas for the brand’s iconic leather goods in the heart of Paris’ buzziest district.

Within the soaring space, with columns extending to almost 5 metres high, every surface at Polène’s Champs-Élysées flagship whispers a story of craft. For example, slender shelves of hand-cut Italian travertine provide minimalist stages for equally minimalist bags. Each subtly echoes the organic forms of the Cyme, Numéro Dix and all-new Osmo, just to name a few.
Artisan cabinetmaker Robin Poupard was also roped in to sculpt tabletops in oak. Then, overlaying them with compressed leather fragments from Polène’s archives, he wove sustainability into tangible beauty. The journey through the soul of French artisanship continues upwards via a sinuous spiral staircase.

There, Marianna Ladreyt transforms a humble sofa into a sculptural ode to leather, weaving Polène’s signature warm palette into curvacious forms. Another commission sees Clémentine Debaere-Lewandowski constructing a table with 500 unique stoneware pieces. Each spotlights textures from the rocks near its workshops in Ubrique.
More than just a store, Polène Champs-Élysées is a destination. Conceived as a celebration, it bridges the gap between thoughtful design and passionate collaboration with dedicated artisans.
