Celine’s newest iteration of the 16 Soft line looks to become the French fashion house’s next understated icon. Combining its stylish hobo silhouette, use of supple calfskin and a slight sheen, the Camille 16 Soft ticks all the right boxes as a solid everyday bag.
Firstly, the geometric cut-out detailing, a nod to the 16 Soft bag, provides an element of visual intrigue. Whereas the slim leather flap and iconic gold turnlock closure add a touch of refined glamour. But don’t be fooled by its minimalist design.

The Camille 16 Soft comes with dual removable straps that offer versatility. The short strap has a 22 cm drop length that you can sling over the shoulder (as seen on Suzy Bae at the Celine ION Orchard store opening), while the crossbody strap is adjustable from 42 cm to 48 cm. This adaptability and its inherent allure ensure this style with interior zip pocket will withstand the test of time.
While not available in monogrammed Triomphe canvas, the classic hobo commands attention in smooth calfskin. After a successful launch of classic hues earlier this year, three new spring-summer 2025 colours officially join the family in the small size. Smoked Brown, Soft Peach and Spring Yellow are equally pleasing to the eye, paired with gold-tone hardware.
