Chanel has created a fragrance for those who treasure rarity as much as scent. N°5 Extrait Baccarat is an ultra-limited release of just 48 pieces worldwide, bringing perfume, art and craftsmanship together in a single object. For the first time, Chanel offers the N°5 Extrait Baccarat in a 50 ML size. Singapore receives five of these pieces exclusively.

The perfume comes in a Baccarat crystal flacon, of course. Baccarat’s master glassmakers hand-blow and polish each bottle using time-honoured methods, achieving exceptional crystal purity. The result is less a container than a sculpture. Each bottle also carries an individual number and hand-engraved markings, making every one of the 48 unique.
Artisans then close each bottle with baudruchage, an ancestral sealing technique done entirely by hand. This remains one of the last fragrance traditions still practised this way, linking each N°5 Extrait Baccarat to perfumery’s earliest days.
Beyond the flacon, each bottle rests in a jewel case covered in white plongé lambskin. Its shape draws inspiration from the iconic N°5 stopper. A small thread-cutter, modelled on the form of Japanese scissors, sits tucked into the open lid. Collectors use it to cut the seal, turning the bottle’s first opening into a ritual.
Singapore’s five N°5 Extrait Baccarat editions comprise numbered editions at 8, 29, 31, 38 and 42. Each retails at SGD8150 for the iconic juice in its Baccarat crystal bottle and accompanying jewel case.
