Every year, Birkenstock 1774 marks the holiday season with a short run of festive styles. This year, Birkenstock’s holiday collection continues that tradition. Two of the brand’s best-known silhouettes lead the lineup: the two-strap Arizona sandal and the Boston clog.

Karl Birkenstock designed both silhouettes, drawing on Brutalist principles. The holiday versions keep that architectural character while adding new colours and textures. Each takes on a party-ready edge, yet remains unmistakably Birkenstock.

Pony-effect cowhide, a signature of the Birkenstock 1774 line, returns in two bold finishes for the holiday collection. A saturated red and a graphic zebra print make an intentionally loud statement. Smooth black leather linings and silver hardware ground the design, keeping the exteriors polished rather than over-the-top.

For a softer option, the shearling Arizona and Boston return in a deep chocolate brown. First appearing in the debut holiday collection two years ago, they come back this season in a richer shade. Shearling covers each shoe inside and out, giving the design a tactile, cocooning quality. Silver buckles and rivets add shine against the dark tone, and both pairs feature Birkenstock’s signature cork-latex footbed.

The Birkenstock 1774 collection launched worldwide on 22 October. You can find selected pairs either online or at Birkenstock boutiques in Singapore. Whether it is the statement pony-effect or the cocooning shearling, these are party-ready styles built on Birkenstock’s understated DNA.
