Ever wondered what it takes to make a sneaker? Dior sheds some light on the production process through its latest retro-inspired kicks that champion the work-in-progress spirit. Debuted as part of the maison’s spring-summer 2025 collection, D-Sketch is an eye-catching sneaker that looks like a prototype.

The bold, stylish sneaker showcases printed hand-drawn pencil marks, the very ones that were sketched when the shoe was designed. There is also a handwritten Christian Dior Paris signature on the side of the shoe, as well as on the panel and tag that adorn the heel counter and tongue. Then adding a touch of couture to the casual style, Dior’s lucky star symbol graces the two-tone rubber sole.

The D-Sketch itself carries a vintage aesthetic with a slender silhouette. Besides the technical fabric lining providing structure and additional comfort, the cool kicks also feature an unexpected double lace system that adds to its unique finish. Each pair comes with an additional set of laces so you can change things up and experiment with different looks.

Ready to kick your footwear game up a notch? Priced at SGD1550, Dior’s D-Sketch is now available in black or white printed nylon and calfskin, as well as silver or gold crinkled metallic leather, in sizes from EU34 to EU41.
