Louis Vuitton started the year with a bang by releasing the highly anticipated #LVxMurakami re-edition collection. But elsewhere in the Louis Vuitton universe, creative director Pharrell Williams was debuting his spring-summer 2025 menswear collection. Adding even more colour to the season, the range showcases the LV Vers Damier Ebene motif.
Reimagining the Damier Ebene as a multicolour checkerboard motif, the creative injected a heavy dose of colour upon the classic brown base. The resulting LV Vers Damier Ebene arguably stole the show when it appeared on the Nevereverfull bag on the runway.
Dubbed the XL version of the Neverfull bag, the Nevereverfull measures 60 cm wide and 38 cm high. Subtle clever additions to the tote include a top zip closure, an interior pocket and a matching removable zipper pouch. The LV Vers tag doubles up as a bag charm, one to appear on most bags from the new LV Vers Damier Ebene family.
If you prefer smaller bags, don’t fret, because there are several styles that star the striking new motif. The 20 cm by 11 cm Steamer East West Wearable Wallet (SGD2940), for example, which comfortably fits your mobile phone and more. Another is the Montsouris Messenger PM (SGD3800) that comes in at 20 cm by 17 cm. Taking inspiration from an archival flap bag, it opens via a front magnetic clasp.
The familiar Keepall Bandoulière 25 (SGD3800) refreshed in LV Vers Damier Ebene is also perfect for those who love a pop of colour on their classic Keepall bags. Then there’s the 23 cm by 13 cm Locker Dopp Kit (SGD2230). You can use this handy pouch either as a clutch or to hold grooming essentials within its washable textile-lined interior.
With bag charms being all the rage at the moment, don’t miss the LV Tape Key Holder & Bag Charm (SGD1120) in the shape of a cassette tape. Time to gear up with the season of multicolour courtesy of Louis Vuitton.
