For spring-summer 2026, Anthony Vaccarello redefines evening sophistication at Saint Laurent. Instead of a logo-laden pochette, he offers a delectable slice of fruit in hand. Three mini evening clutches take centrestage in the collection, namely the Kiwi, Lemon and Orange. Suddenly, glamour tastes a little jucier.

In a sharp, surrealist turn, the French fashion house trades sultry glamour and sophisticated tailoring for playful produce. While keeping the polish intact, of course. Cast in high-gloss resin, these organic shapes become forever clutches, not fleeting fruit. Think of them as the fashion equivalent of a garnish. Small but essential, and entirely about presentation.
All three adopt a half-moon silhouette measuring 13 cm by 8 cm. The Evening Mini Kiwi Clutch looks freshly sliced, almost juicy to the eye. Meanwhile, the Lemon appears elongated, sharp and unapologetically bold, more calamansi than citrus cliché. As for the Orange, it appears to glow with saturated zest.
Admittedly, they lean toward conversation-piece territory. However, these Saint Laurent evening mini fruit clutches still hold lipsticks, cards and AirPods. So yes, they work for a proper night out. Each comes with a chain strap and a YSL Cassandre medallion seals the deal.
Whether you prefer the citrus tang of Lemon, the radiant orb of Orange or the sour twinge of Kiwi, the message feels clear. The freshest statement for 2026 may well be these cheeky wedge minaudières from Saint Laurent. After all, it’s less about capacity and more about carrying a slice of joy wherever the night leads.
