It’s tradition in France to gift sprigs of lily of the valley to loved ones for luck on 1 May. La Fête du Muguet is a festival celebrating renewal and the changing of the seasons. In honour of the occasion, Dior Maison enriches its Lily Of The Valley tableware collection with new items to usher in good fortune.

The collection simultaneously pays homage to Monsieur Christian Dior as the charming bloom also happened to be his lucky flower. In fact, he would sew a sprig of it into the hem of dresses to bring the wearer good fortune. Echoing the emblematic dress from the spring-summer 1957 haute couture show, the extension showcases delicately embossed bells.

The motifs adorn a range of refined creations, which spans an assortment of candles, plates and table linens. Boasting a fresh palette of green, they lend gorgeous colour and texture to any table. This celebration of nature also extends to a series of glassware pieces. They feature four-leaf clovers or lily of the valley engravings, each an ode to Monsieur Dior’s passion for lucky charms.

Ready to add a touch of pastoral poetry to your tablescape? The new Dior Maison Lily Of The Valley tableware extension is now available online, and in-store at Dior’s ION Orchard boutique.
