What do a vintage telephone, a school-cafeteria milk carton, a ping pong paddle, a wall clock and a rocket booster have in common? At Louis Vuitton, the design team decided they all deserved the monogram treatment and a crossbody strap. The result is surely one of the French fashion house’s most delightfully unserious accessories drop in months. Five object-bags trade restraint for pure, cheeky punchline.
Dialling up the fun by an entire notch is the LV Calling (SGD10,100), shaped like a vintage rotary telephone. Crafted from Monogram Canvas and cowhide leather, it features metallic hardware in place of the dial. A leather cord coils off the side, completing the retro illusion. Launched as part of Louis Vuitton’s fall-winter 2026 menswear story, it reimagines the past to imagine the future.
Equally quirky is the LV Time (SGD11,800), a bag that takes the idea of arm candy to another stratosphere. A full clock face with hour and minute hands sits under a plexiglass dome. The body is soft, Monogram-printed cowhide. It is surprisingly versatile despite the gimmick. Carry it as a clutch, sling it crossbody via the removable strap or clip it onto another bag entirely.
Three more cheeky styles round out the drop. Firstly, the Rocket Shuttle Wearable Wallet (SGD11,000) gives a phone-and-cards pouch main-character energy. Its nose cone opens to reveal a full-leather interior sized for two phones and a small wallet. Then the Milk Bag (SGD4,150) reproduces the boxy geometry of a classic milk carton, right down to a leather name tag that stands in for the expiry label.
Lastly, rounding out the lot is the Ping Pong Bag (SGD4,400). It channels the sportier direction Pharrell Williams has taken with Louis Vuitton’s menswear. Shaped like a table-tennis paddle, it features the new Monogram Grid, a perforated Damier motif layered atop Monogram coated canvas. A detachable case sized for two actual ping pong balls hangs off the side, though no one’s stopping you from storing your AirPods in there instead.
