At Hermès, watches aren’t solely instruments for telling time. The French maison believes in creating exceptional pieces that integrate design, aesthetic and technical precision, evident in the Hermès H08 which debuted in 2021.
Well ahead of its time (excuse the pun), the sporty-cool watch soon became an everyday go-to for men.
Design innovation is key with the Hermès H08. One clear example of this is the embedding of a circular dial within a square case. And in this latest update by Philippe Delhotal, creative director of Hermès Horloger, the timepiece takes on a new braided and aluminised glass fibre material.

Available in four colours, the lightweight yet sturdy material incorporates slate powder for a refined silvery texture. The colours also extend to the glass screen, minute track and varnished second hand. These touches provide a vibrant contrast against the black ceramic bezel and crown.
The returning mechanical self-winding Hermès H1837 movement drives a 50-hour power reserve, so the watch keeps time even if you skip a day. Other notable features include silica composite hour markers coated with Super-LumiNova®️ for legibility. The anti-glare sapphire crystal is another plus.
Soon to launch at SGD10,300, the Hermès H08 will come in blue, green, orange and yellow. The matching rubber strap comes complete with a woven effect and a black DLC-treated titanium folding clasp.
