For spring-summer 2026, Dior turns its gaze inward, revisiting the codes that define the maison. This brings us to a new capsule conceived under Jonathan Anderson’s direction. The line draws from one of the house’s enduring heritage symbols, the Medallion chair. As such, it feels both reflective and refreshingly current.
First unveiled in the original Dior boutique in 1947, the Louis XVI-style seat crowned with a delicate bow swiftly became a quiet house emblem. Classic and unmistakably Parisian, its oval back and refined lines have appeared over the years as a recurring design motif. Now, however, it steps confidently into the ready-to-wear spotlight.

Across the Medallion capsule, the oval motif weaves into garments through precious details like buttons and intricate embroidery. Meanwhile, it even transforms into a belt buckle topped with a finely textured bow. Then a silk scarf in crisp blue and white celebrates French textile artistry while enhancing the emblem with graphic clarity.
Naturally, the maison’s iconic bags take centrestage. The Dior Book Tote and Lady Dior appear reinterpreted with the oval entirely hand-embroidered. This creates a rich interplay of texture and craftsmanship. Small leather goods too echo the form through sculptural accents, all while maintaining practicality.

Elsewhere, the motif adorns loafers and sandals, engraved delicately on insoles for a discreet flourish. Talismanic jewellery, keyrings, miniature mirrors and bag charms continue the story. Lastly, the D-Player cap and Teddy-D bucket hat follow suit. Indeed, the Dior Medallion emerges as a unifying symbol, cast in an effortlessly modern light.
