With Demna taking on the role of creative director, Gucci is rewriting the rules of fashion. No conventional launches here. Instead, the house unveiled its La Famiglia collection via an online lookbook, followed by a short film titled ‘The Tiger’. Stars like Demi Moore, Edward Norton and Keke Palmer brought the pieces to life in a brilliant move that outpaces any runway.

This marks a bold new era for Gucci. One defined by extravagance, audaciousness and storytelling that refuses to play safe. Captured by Catherine Opie, the lookbook frames La Famiglia in striking portraits, each character embodying a facet of Gucci identity. Meet Miss Aperitivo in a punchy silver dress, La Bomba dripping with opulence and the fiery Incazzata in tailored red with inimitable GG buttons.
Accessories shine throughout the collection. The Gucci Bamboo 1947 returns in a re-proportioned silhouette, proving the 78-year-old icon still reinvents itself. The Jackie also makes a comeback in supple goatskin and GG canvas. Then there’s the Horsebit loafer, a house icon since 1953, which anchors looks like Narcista and Introverso, that BTS’ Jin and Song Wei Long wore.

The La Famiglia collection has now landed at Marina Bay Sands for a limited-time showcase till 12 October 2025. Singapore is the sole Southeast Asian city carrying the line, with a ‘See now, buy now’ approach across ready-to-wear, bags, accessories and shoes. For local fans, this is a rare chance to encounter Gucci’s bold, beautiful and boundary-pushing future before it goes global.
