Few emblems carry the legacy of the house of Dior as tenderly as the lily of the valley. More than just a floral favourite, it was Christian Dior’s good-luck charm. Besides always wearing one in his buttonhole, the couturier would also sew a dried sprig into the hem of each of his designs, including the iconic Muguet dress of 1957 that’s reminiscent of the symbolic bloom.

Today, the cherished symbol of luck, renewal and spring finds renewed expression in Dior Maison’s new tableware collection. A graceful tribute to the beloved flower, the Lily Dior collection is a poetic and exquisitely crafted range of tableware. Designed by Dior Maison artistic director Cordelia de Castellane, it truly captures the essence of spring.

The lily of the valley’s bell-shape silhouette punctuates a variety of forms. These range from plates and a set of earthenware cereal bowls to a vase and a carafe. Other standout pieces include two unique mouth-blown glasses that lend the collection subtle transparency.

Firstly, a water glass that takes its shape from the famed Junon dress that’s been inverted into this sculptural yet functional form. The second is a wine glass that echoes the elegant curves of a tulip. Hand-crafted foliage adorns the base for an effect that is both organic and ethereal.

Ready to bring a touch of springtime charm and good luck to your table? Dior Maison's Lily Dior tableware collection is now available online, as well as in-store at Dior’s ION Orchard boutique.
