Monsieur Christian Dior adored grand costume balls. Picture enchanting celebrations in chateaus where guests played with their looks to transform, as if by magic, for one night. Inspired by such grandeur, Dior Beauty dreams up a grand ball this festive season with its magical holiday collection.
For the occasion, artist Pietro Ruffo’s show-stopping illustrations inspired by the splendour of the Château de Versailles adorn golden iterations of Dior Beauty’s iconic products. Dazzling colour creations also borrow from extravagant balls, showcasing palettes of ruby red, glittering pinks and sparkling golds.

Must-haves include two gorgeous Diorshow 5 Couleurs (SGD123) eyeshadow palettes with embossings of the collection’s decorative motifs. While 643 Golden Masquerade evokes a gilded ballroom with violet accents and matte burgundy, 863 Soir de Bal presents soft tones of powdery rose and grey-mauve that celebrate the floral richness of a royal garden.
Next, Rouge Dior Forever Liquid Sequin (SGD67) makes its grand return for the season in 10 dazzling shades. To experience the magic, firstly apply the formula to the lips as you would a lipstick. After leaving it to dry for a couple of minutes, press the lips together to reveal a burst of shimmering iridescence.

You can also pucker up with the line-up’s other lip treats. For example, the Rouge Dior (SGD73) lipstick with an engraved bullet housed in an entirely golden case. For a high-shine pout, Dior Addict (SGD64) comes in two new shades, alongside a collector’s Dior Addict Grand Bal Case (SGD52), which matches with this year’s Forever Cushion Grand Bal Case (SGD50).
