Before it was the name of a fragrance, Gabrielle Chanel was the name of the founder of Chanel. Passionate, free-spirited and rebellious, the legendary designer and woman always chose the person she wanted to be. In a nod to such ardour and strength, Chanel created its most luminous fragrance pillar. And the latest iteration to bear her name is the Gabrielle Chanel L’Eau.

It all began in 2017, with the original Gabrielle Chanel Eau de Parfum (from SGD145 for 35 ML), of course. Featuring all the Chanel trademarks, its composition centres around four radiant white flowers close to Mademoiselle’s heart. Exotic jasmine, fruity ylang-ylang, sparkling orange blossom and creamy Grasse tuberose form the feminine and expressive scent.

The iconic olfactory bouquet remains present throughout the Gabrielle Chanel fragrance line, which saw its second expression in 2019. The Gabrielle Essence Eau de Parfum (from SGD145 for 35 ML) is a rather more vibrant and opulent variation. The tuberose note is magnified to create a warm and enveloping trail, while the addition of citrus and redberries add a distinct lightness.

Then in 2022, Chanel introduced its most precious and sensual interpretation, the Gabrielle Chanel Extrait (SGD505 for 35 ML). Utterly striking from the first drop, its floral heart, coddled by sandalwood and vanilla absolute, envelops its user in the full intensity of its floral power.

This brings us to the newest and lightest of the lot, the Gabrielle Chanel L’Eau (from SGD205 for 50 ML). Sparkling and fruity, this spontaneous floral composition offers a burst of freshness. The tuberose note in its unique floral heart is revisited to bring out its green, botanical facet. Berry accents further illuminate this, offering a vibrant new side of Gabrielle Chanel for all to experience.

The Gabrielle Chanel fragrance line, including the new Gabrielle Chanel L’Eau, is available at Chanel's Fragrance & Beauty boutiques and counters islandwide, as well as online via their e-store.
