Since 1969, the screw motif has defined Cartier’s LOVE collection as a symbol of steadfast devotion. Over the decades, the maison honours that heritage through countless iterations, but LOVE Unlimited marks a different kind of leap. The flexible, articulated line first loosened the rigid oval silhouette, and this October, Cartier expands the LOVE Unlimited family further.

The LOVE Unlimited necklace is the first piece in the line designed to rest at the collarbone. Its gadrooned links, with finely ridged segments, create the signature pleated look. They flow into one another so the piece sits close and drapes softly. Screw motifs spaced along the length further pay homage to the LOVE collection’s origins. Available in rose gold, yellow gold or rhodium-plated white gold, the necklace is built for both comfort and looks.

Cartier also introduces LOVE Unlimited bracelets and rings that follow a different idea. Here, round diamonds replace the screw motifs, giving the pieces a more luminous quality without abandoning the collection’s geometry. Each stone sits in a setting shaped like a screw, so the diamonds still echo the detail they replace. The ring holds six brilliant-cut diamonds, while the flexible bracelet features seven.
The craftsmanship behind each piece is considerable. Artisans put every bracelet together from about 200 tiny components, all hand-polished before assembly. Setting the diamonds raises the precision further still. Cartier’s patented invisible clasp also sits concealed within the bracelet, allowing it to attach to a second piece. The wearer can either pair a diamond version with the original all-gold bracelet or layer multiples together.
These new additions carry the spirit of the original LOVE bracelet, designed by Aldo Cipullo in New York in 1969, but with a refreshed, contemporary outlook. In Singapore, prices for the LOVE Unlimited ring start at SGD10,800 in rose gold and yellow gold, and SGD11,400 in white gold. Bracelets retail at SGD28,400 and SGD30,300, while necklaces come in at SGD28,900 and SGD30,900 respectively.
