Jacquemus has a knack for keeping its accessories fresh, and the Long Turismo is the latest proof. It reworks the house’s soft, knotted-handle Turismo bag into a wider, longer shape. The rounded proportions give way to an east-west silhouette built for everyday wear.

Wider than tall, the new proportions sit comfortably against the body when slipped under an arm. At 33 cm wide and 18.5 cm high, the bag holds a wallet, phone, sunglasses and several essentials without bulging. It swaps the earlier open-top design for a sleek foldover flap with a magnetic closure, making access effortless. Inside, the cotton-lined interior includes zip and patch pockets to keep smaller items in check.
Jacquemus kept the elements that earned the original its following. The Long Turismo retains the softness, the effortless feel and the knotted loop on its handle, of course. That knot is the Turismo family’s signature detail, lending the bag a playful, unfussy touch the house is known for.
Moreover, leather and suede lovers will appreciate the variety of finishes and colours. Supple grained leather holds up well to daily wear and the occasional splash. Suede, meanwhile, delivers a richer, more tactile feel. There’s also a croc-embossed suede version for those after something bolder.
The Long Turismo is priced at USD1570 for leather and suede, rising to USD1650 for the croc-embossed suede version. More smart adjustment than reinvention, it makes a popular shape even more useful. The signature knot, naturally, stays in place.
