The Alaïa name evokes images of Parisian chic, a legacy established by the visionary designer Azzedine Alaïa. Renowned for his tailoring expertise and innovative materials, Alaïa’s designs instil confidence and sophistication in women. This spirit extends beyond clothing, and among them, one bag reigns supreme. And her name is Mina.

While the heart-shaped Le Cœur and the avant-garde Le Teckel playfully garner attention, the timeless Mina transcends trends. Crafted from buttery soft calfskin, the bag features a distinctive trapezoidal silhouette. Its defining characteristic is the Vienne wave cut-out detailing, which draws inspiration from delicate lace and intricate moucharabieh latticework.

The Mina 16 (SGD2330) measures 16 cm wide and 14 cm high, whereas the Mina 20 (SGD2990) comes in at 20 cm by 17 cm. Both sizes boast a structured shape with snap-fastening gusseted sides that offer expandability. This thoughtful design marries form with function, ensuring the bag remains stylish while accommodating your daily needs.

Classic colours include Black, Nude and White, while seasonal hues pop up from time to time. Dune, Grey and Pearl, for example. Complete with dual top handles and a removable leather strap, the Mina offers multiple ways of carrying.

Both sizes are available at Club21 boutiques at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore and Como Orchard. And if you love an avant-garde alternative, Alaïa just released a special edition of the Mina 20 (SGD4100) with studded detailing in place of the Vienne openwork.
