Many are familiar with fragrance lines like Black Opium and Libre. Yet YSL Beauty’s Le Vestiaire Des Parfums is equally exciting, even if rather lesser-known. But things are about to change.
The high perfumery collection that first launched overseas in 2015 has finally landed in Singapore. The ultimate fragrance wardrobe is inspired by and named after some of the most iconic fashion pieces that the maison’s founder designed.
Comprising eight unisex eau de parfums, each embodies a different couture sensibility for a distinctive olfactory experience. Spanning three major fragrance families, there’s a scent for every mood and occasion.

Love to dress yourself in florals? Try a spritz of Blouse, which boasts notes of rose and black pepper to evoke the lightness and fluidity of the garment. Next, Capeline captures an enigmatic attitude with lily and vanilla, while Lavalliere brings forth the silky bow with a concoction of rose and fig.
For florals with a citrus twist, consider the powerful all-in-one Jumpsuit with notes of magnolia and zesty bergamot. Or Saharienne that recalls the safari jacket with an animalistic neroli note that meets soft, creamy musk. And for days when you’re looking to wear something warmer, the woody Caban captures the warmth of a peacoat with notes of spicy pink pepper, tonka and sandalwood.
Alternatively, Smoky Cuir offers contrasting oud and violet leaf. Finally, the cult-favourite Tuxedo highlights the sophisticated and seductive garment with spices and patchouli.
The Le Vestiaire Des Parfums are presented in architectural square-cut glass bottles topped with a textured black cap. Each retails at SGD430 for 125 ml, exclusively at the recently renovated YSL Beauty boutique at ION Orchard.
And if you would like to extend the olfactory experience to your living space, you’ll be glad to know that Jumpsuit and Tuxedo are also available in the form of scented candles (SGD115 for 165 g) to set the mood.
