Under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello, Saint Laurent continues to refine its distinct language of Parisian chic. The launch of its summer 2025 campaign sees sharp tailoring, sensual silhouettes and accessories that are equally covetable and timeless.
Bags, in particular, remain central to this narrative, appearing in fresh interpretations that align with the season’s overarching mood. Take the following four, for example. Each brings its unique character to the forefront, while receiving a subtle update for the warmer months ahead.
01 - Jamie Shopping Bag, SGD5250
The Jamie Shopping, characterised by plush quilting and the inimitable YSL Cassandre logo in the middle, combines comfort with style. This capacious tote in supple lambskin is available in Black, Bordeaux and Light Musk. For those who love a soft, velvety touch, another option comes in suede.
The practicality of a large shopper is undeniable for toting everyday necessities with ease, as Saint Laurent continues to embrace larger bags. This results in a single style that offers both a fashion statement and genuine utility.
02 - Sac de Jour, SGD9200
A key style at Saint Laurent, the Sac de Jour is experiencing something of a renaissance in 2025. The boxy silhouette is reimagined in vegetable-tanned leather, one that will attain a beautiful patina as it ages. This seasonal special also sees a debossed ‘Saint Laurent Paris’ logo in place of the usual gold-tone foil.
Measuring 36 cm by 26 cm, the interior opens to reveal a full suede lining for a tone-on-tone look. It features a central pocket separating two roomy main compartments. Saint Laurent also extends the handles to a 16 cm drop length for wearing casually over the shoulder.
03 - Voltaire Top Handle, SGD3300
With its elegant structure, the Voltaire Top Handle remains a favourite for evenings and grab-and-go moments. The adjustable and removable strap adds on multiple ways of wearing. Otherwise, you can simply remove both and use it as a voluminous handheld clutch.
This season, the style returns to a palette of lighter hues like Blanc Vintage, Dark Toffee, and Hot Sahara. A magnetic snap closure hides beneath the YSL Cassandre logo, making it a breeze to use. With its petite 21 cm by 17.5 cm size that stands out amongst the four, this is certainly a solid contender.
04 - Y Tote, SGD5250
One that needs little introduction, the Y Tote is a more recently established icon of the French fashion house. Despite its youth, its relaxed yet sophisticated appeal is quickly gaining traction amongst fashionistas. Perfect for the summer season, the unisex offering comes in lighter materials, such as canvas, linen and supple leather.
Its effortless slouch, generous size and elongated handles also make it an ideal companion for city commutes or weekend getaways. Saint Laurent’s Y family recently expanded to include hobo and bucket styles, but nothing quite beats the OG Y Tote as seen on celebrities the likes of Cha Eun-Woo and Freen Sarocha.
