To create a truly immersive experience, Cartier partnered with Paris-based architectural firm Bidard & Raissi to reimagine its Takashimaya Shopping Centre boutique. The result is a sprawling 311 sqm, two-storey space that rather resembles a footbridge overlooking a garden. One in which Parisian elegance meets Singapore’s vibrant city state.

The Level 2 entrance introduces visitors to the Accessories & Creative Jewellery universe. A feature wall juxtaposes the Cartier Panther, a symbol of strength, against a verdant panorama of Gardens by the Bay. On the left, the delicate yet resilient orchid, Singapore’s national flower, frames iconic jewellery collections like Juste un Clou, Love and Trinity.

Continuing through the boutique, you will realise that its interior design was subtly influenced by the durian. The king of fruit elevates the space with bold geometric elements and warm bronze hues. This striking contrast, between delicate flora and robust fruit, mirrors Singapore’s own blend of refined beauty and pragmatic strength.
The journey culminates on Level 1, where Cartier introduces intimate spaces such as a bridal area inspired by the romance of hornbills. A unique client care space, a first for Singapore, offers maintenance, repair and personalisation services amidst a tranquil botanical atmosphere. These spaces further underscore the maison’s commitment to service and a celebration of fine watches and jewellery.
In creating a space where Parisian savoir-faire harmonises with Singapore’s garden city ethos, Cartier delivers a truly immersive experience. Check it out for yourself at 01-33 & 02-02/04 Takashimaya Shopping Centre.
