Besides aromatic body and hand care creations that lend pleasure to daily rituals, Aesop’s sensorial fragrance range promises olfactory pleasure too. For those seeking something different, its latest Aurner Eau de Parfum is a defiant floral fragrance with unexpected contrasts.

Though the Australian brand was established in 1987, it wasn’t until 2001 when Aesop started experimenting with perfume creation. Customers who expressed a desire for perfumes to extend the notes of its body care formulations prompted the idea.

In 2005, Aesop released its first perfume, Marrakech, an oriental floral blend re-released as Marrakech Intense in 2014. Since then, Aesop has steadily introduced niche fragrances that quickly become crowd favourites. From Tacit and Hwyl to Rozu and Gloam, each offers unconventional olfactive journeys.

Altogether, Aesop now offers 12 genderless perfumes. A recent addition was the Virēre Eau De Parfum (SGD185 for 50 ML). Introduced in late 2024, the citrus, green and woody scent with notes of fig and green tea is one that will instantly transport you to cherished Mediterranean mornings.

Then there’s its newest launch, the Aurner Eau de Parfum (SGD255 for 50 ML). Its name comes from an Old Norse verb meaning ‘to be adorned, to be embellished by flowers’, echoing how the fragrance wears on the skin. Notes of chamomile and spicy pink pepper converge with magnolia leaf and cedar heart for a pleasantly bold sensorial experience.

Priced from SGD185 for 50 ML, the Aesop fragrances, including the new Aurner Eau de Parfum, are now available at Aesop stores and online.
