The recent opening of Dior Gold House in Bangkok marks a new shift in fashion’s changing retail landscape. Eclipsing traditional models of replicating boutiques and pop-ups around the world, Dior favours a fresh new approach. In a single space, it emphasises cultural exchange, local collaboration and a showcase of Dior’s savoir-faire.

The expansive space in the Ploenchit district evokes the historic townhouse at 30 Avenue Montaigne, but reimagined by Thai artisans. Spanning 1,000 square meters, the boutique features a stunning gold facade. Executed using mosaic techniques, it boasts an outstanding shine from day to night.
Inside, a blend of contemporary design and traditional Thai elements reign, bringing forth the beauty of local materials like bamboo, raffia and wood. Dior motifs like the inimitable Lucky Star, Toile de Jouy and Plan de Paris further punctuate the sublime atmosphere.

Shop pieces from the men’s and women’s collections by Kim Jones and Maria Grazia Chiuri. Ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories, bags and even Dior Maison creations are available. Of course, Dior Gold House exclusives also await. These include limited-edition interpretations of the Dior Jolie, Lady Dior, Lady D-joy and Saddle, as well as hard-sided trunks decked in gold.
Dior Gold House also celebrates Thai artistry, with works by nine prominent Thai artists elevating the space. From Boonserm Premthada’s elephant footprint installations to the reimagined tuk-tuk by Saran Yen Panya, each reflects the unique spirit of Thailand. Before leaving the space, don’t forget to stop by Café Dior to enjoy a selection of desserts and coffee.
