Balenciaga flips the page on a brand new chapter, unveiling a Bel Air bag campaign captured by Mario Sorrenti. With a name that takes inspiration from the iconic Los Angeles neighbourhood, the Bel Air is Balenciaga’s definitive carryall.

The latest campaign stars a trio of luminaries: supermodel Kate Moss, K-pop sensation Juyeon and runway superstar Kit Butler. Each showcases a different way to style the black leather Bel Air bag. Kate wore a sleek black dress, for example. Then there’s Juyeon and Kit who each wore a variation of a Balenciaga hoodie with cool streetwear influences.
Mario Sorrenti also captured the Bel Air bags in several still-life images, featuring close-ups of the bag’s signature details. Firstly, the expandable main compartment with its distinctive flaps and turn-lock closures offers both function and fashion. Various belts and a clochette further add to its more-is-more appeal.
The Bel Air is available in three sizes (small, medium and XL) with a choice of either aged-gold or aged-silver hardware.
