Meet Lola. Celine introduced this newcomer to the scene as part of the brand’s spring-summer 2024 collection. Debuting in Hedi Slimane’s special film presentation at the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, it builds upon a Celine classic. Just picture a classic Triomphe bag in a sleek east-west silhouette, rather reminiscent of a delectable French pastry.

The campaign images themselves playfully showcase the Lola under the arm, just like how you would cradle a baguette. Alternatively, you can choose to wear it across the body with its adjustable shoulder strap. Beyond the signature shiny clasp, the whimsical style also boasts a captivating curved base that distinguishes it from the average flap bag.

Currently, the Lola comes solely in the medium size measuring 28 cm wide and 12 cm high. Material options are plentiful, with choices like shiny calfskin, Triomphe Canvas, or a laminated version featuring the all-over CELINE motif. Finally, a metallic Triomphe closure in either silver or gold completes the look with a touch of Parisian chic.

While it remains to be seen if Celine’s new global ambassador, Danielle of NewJeans, will be sporting the Lola at future appearances, you don’t have to wait to get ahead of the trend.
