Louis Vuitton’s Speedy gets an unexpected makeover courtesy of menswear creative director, Pharrell Williams. Inspired by the vibrant hustle of New York City’s Canal Street, he reimagines the icon as a daily companion for the fearless and free-spirited. Brimming with attitude and street-cool sensibilities, the Speedy P9 Bandoulière debuts with Louis Vuitton’s Spring-Summer 2024 collection.
Forget the stiff boxiness of the classic Speedy, because this rendition gets a luxurious upgrade. Thanks to the supple calfskin leather exterior and the finest lambskin lining, it feels as good as it looks. The softer construction lets the bag drape naturally when left open, adapting to your urban adventures and everyday rhythms.

A unique silkscreen effect gives Louis Vuitton’s new Monogram an artisanal flair, almost as if it was hand-painted onto the grained leather. This subtle treatment not only adds depth and personality to the Speedy P9 Bandoulière. It also radiates beautifully on four colours: Bleu, Jaune Mat, Rouge and Vert.
In tribute to the maison’s heritage, the handles, straps, key bell and name tag will come in vachetta leather. These natural cowhide elements gradually develop a patina over time, each waiting to tell its own unique story. It also comes with a removable matching leather zip pouch that doubles as a mini SLG.
The Speedy P9 Bandoulière also packs a removable shoulder strap and will come in sizes like 25, 40 and 50, as well as its very own bag cushion. They measure 25 cm by 15 cm, 40 cm by 26 cm and 50 cm by 32 cm respectively. Peek within to find a polished gold plaque with a quote from Pharrell Williams adding to its allure, something you won’t find in a regular Speedy.
