Think of Loewe, and bags like the Flamenco and Puzzle immediately come to mind. Both bags display a clever blend of artisanal heritage with a distinct, often playful, modernity. Now, stepping into this esteemed lineage is the new Ola bag, a testament to Jonathan Anderson’s continuing vision for the Spanish fashion house.

A version in raffia initially debuted with Paula’s Ibiza 2025, immediately carving out its niche while proving that beach-ready vibes easily translate into year-round chic. With Loewe now rolling out its pre-fall 2025 collection, the Ola returns in supple calfskin leather.

In a medium size measuring 26 cm wide and 18 cm high, its design is reminiscent of a gently rolling wave, as its name in Spanish suggests. The fluid, sculptural lines emphasise Loewe’s love for unique geometrical shapes. Accentuating this, the flap opening is pure joy, a subtle undulation that echoes its namesake.

Another showstopping element is the charming donut beaded chain, which adds a touch of playful whimsy. While the Anagram logo subtly embossed on one of the gold-toned beads is that perfect wink of branding. Furthermore, a detachable leather strap lets you switch between shoulder carry and crossbody styles for extra versatility.

Available in four lush hues, the Ola in smooth calfskin is currently priced at SGD3990 in Singapore. Choose from classic Black and Sand, a rich shade of Dark Burgundy, as well as vibrant yellow Ginger.
