Sculptural lines and a trapezoid shape make Givenchy’s Antigona an instantly recognisable modern classic. But this season, the French maison elongates its icon to give it a sleek, new silhouette. Enter the Antigona East-West. Still structured and refined, but stretched into something longer and leaner.

As its name suggests, this new style runs horizontal. With an origami-style gusset construction, it plays with proportion in all the right ways, while retaining the defining details. This includes its architectural top handles, gleaming hardware, bold zipper and unmistakable pentagonal logo patch.

Despite its streamlined exterior, the Antigona East-West doesn’t skimp on function. Both the small (27.5 cm by 12 cm) or mini (24 cm by 11 cm) size offer ample room for daily essentials. Besides a phone, SLG and lipstick, a compact umbrella also fits, if you pack smart. Articulate leather handles with four D-rings add versatility. Use them to hang bag charms or attach the adjustable, removable shoulder strap.

Available in smooth and shiny box leather, the small size comes in Black, Ivory and Vermillon, as well as a high-shine laminated leather in Light Silvery. The mini brings more colour variety, with box leather in Black, Butter, Chocolate, Flamingo and Vermillon, alongside a mirror-effect Golden in laminated leather.

With prices starting from SGD2400, Givenchy’s Antigona East-West has everything you love about the original, plus an elongated silhouette that feels unmistakably contemporary.
