Burberry’s Rocking Horse Is A Fresh Take On The Classic Saddle

Handbags are one of the core pillars of the newly refreshed Burberry. So Daniel Lee introduced not one, not two, but four main styles in his debut collection for the British fashion house.

The fall-winter 2023 line-up includes the slouchy Knight, the eye-catching Chess, as well as the stunning Rose clutch. But leading the charge for flap bags is none other than the contemporary Rocking Horse.

Decked out in Burberry Check wool, it features a refreshing b insignia hardware on the flap. While subtly referencing the brand’s initial, it doubles as the bag’s closure which seals with a simple click. Under the flap, three accordion-like compartments help you stay organised.

Currently available in a single medium size, it measures 26 cm wide and 20.5 cm high. You can shorten the accompanying adjustable strap for a hand-held look or wear it long over the shoulder. If the iconic check doesn’t catch your eye, a full-leather version, complete with an Equestrian Knight Design embossed on the back, is also available.
