Young and fresh. That’s the Ava bag that Lisa (of K-pop group Blackpink fame) was spotted carrying a vintage style of from the French fashion house at the airport in 2019. Of course, fans went mad for it and it led to the birth of the Ava that you know and love.

Measuring 23 cm wide and 13.5 cm high, the original Ava was released in Triomphe canvas with tan leather trims. And it didn’t stop there. Today, the continually growing line-up extends to sizes like the Mini Ava, which stands at 16 cm by 8.5 cm.

Another recent creation is the Medium Ava Strap, complete with a removable leather sling instead of a fixed handle. While it has the same dimensions as the Ava, the Medium Ava Strap offers added versatility. You can easily convert the bag into a clutch, due to gold-tone clasps on either side.

Besides, the half-moon shoulder bag is an absolutely to carry. Its slightly curved upper nestles comfortably under the arm, so you don’t have to worry about anything jutting out awkwardly. No top handles to fuss around with either; just an adjustable leather strap that slings effortlessly over the shoulder.

Here’s more good news for Ava fans. Celine will also be launching the Ava Triomphe very soon. It combines elements of the half-moon Ava and the iconic Triomphe hardware that doubles as the bag’s magnetic flap closure.

In Singapore, prices range from SGD1500 for the Mini Ava in Triomphe canvas and calfskin to SGD3600 for the Medium Ava Strap.
