It’s a given fact that smaller bags require fewer materials to make, but one should not discount the amount of effort that goes into creating miniature designs like the Flori Nano. Especially when expert craftsmen give each bag that artisanal touch in the Moynat atelier.

They recreate and resize individual elements like the handles, body, straps and hardware for a proportionate fit. The necessary skillset and savoir-faire reach far beyond what most assume go into making ‘just another miniature handbag’.

If you have yet to see the Flori Nano (SGD4000) up close, do so the next time you visit the Moynat boutiques in Marina Bay Sands and Takashimaya Shopping Centre.

The petite piece measures just 13 cm wide and 12 cm high. Yet items like a compact cardholder, lipstick and even a travel-size perfume will fit snugly within its compartment. You can also ditch the extra SLG if you only intend on bringing one or two cards out, as they will slot neatly into the interior M patch pocket.

For the longest time, only one colour (Black) was available for walk-in purchases. However, things are a-changing, with two fresh additions to the family. The Flori Nano now comes in Cannelle with silver-tone hardware and a palladium metallic clasp. Alongside, a military green shade called Regiment pairs with gold-tone hardware.

Both colours are crafted in Taurillon Blush leather with full grain Perla Calf lining. The long, removable strap makes it really easy to wear this darling across the body too.
