Looking for little pleasures to bring joy to your day? The IKEA x Marimekko BASTUA collection is a great place to start. The delightful collaboration takes inspiration from nature and self-care rituals of the Nordic sauna. Spanning 29 products, it is here to bring joy to everyday lives through bold prints and colours.

The limited-edition line-up encompasses furniture, glassware and textiles with vibrant prints. Of course, there are plenty of options to choose from. These range from minimalistic décor to pieces of furniture that add an artisanal feel with clean lines.

Add a dreamy glow and get your relaxation ritual started with the LED lantern (SGD32.90). All while you take in the moment on the birch bench (SGD109). In a first for IKEA, there’s even a sauna bucket (SGD44.90), complete with ladle. No sauna? Then simply use it as an aesthetic bucket for watering plants.

You’ll also find tableware pieces, like bowls (SGD9.90), glassware (SGD6.90) and jugs (SGD29.90). Each features beautifully shaped surfaces reminiscent of carved wood. You can also find the artisan-carved design throughout the collection on other items.

For example, on the container of the scented candle (SGD12.90). Burn it to evoke warm summer days with a blend of elderflower, rhubarb and sweet vanilla notes. Then there’s a birch rack (SGD29.90) with knobs for organising clothes and bags, as well as a statement mirror (SGD99).

As mentioned earlier, vibrant prints are one of the key elements of the collection. You’ll find these on water bottles (SGD16.90) and versatile trays (SGD14.90) that fit perfectly on the birch side table (SGD79). There are also bath sheets (SGD23.90) that double as table runners, which all come in abstract and brightly coloured designs.

Prices range from SGD1.90 for the carrier bag to SGD109 for the bench. Excited? The IKEA x Marimekko BASTUA collection launches in IKEA Singapore stores on 2 March, and online on 3 March. Get ready to take a piece of Nordic happiness home with you, sauna or no sauna.
