Move aside, shiny buckle. Because Celine’s Cuir Triomphe is taking the spotlight in the latest range of drool-worthy bags from Spring-Summer 2023. The Cuir Triomphe, as its name suggests, is made entirely out of leather (yes, zero metal).

Stitched at the edges, it is lightly embossed to form the French fashion house’s signature Triomphe motif. It’s also slightly larger than usual, making it a statement piece you can’t ignore.

Firstly, the Besace Cuir Triomphe now comes in a beautiful shade known as Poudré. Think of it as light powder pink, with the pastel hue extending to the strap and Cuir Triomphe oversized buckle. There’s also a second version in a mix of natural textile with tan leather trimmings. While this is a cool alternative to full leather, do be a tad careful to avoid stains on the fabric.

The Besace Cuir Triomphe (SGD2950 to SGD3250) is available in a single size. Measuring 23 cm wide and 13.5 cm high, its construction is reminiscent of a half-moon silhouette. The darling creation certainly stands out from among run-of-the-mill flap bags or boxy crossbody bags.

Also part of the family is the Folco Cuir Triomphe (SGD3950) in smooth calfskin with Triomphe embroidery. The tan leather bag pairs with suede calfskin lining for a solid combination inside and out. Furthermore, it’s a complete breeze to use with the magnetic closure. The adjustable strap adds extra points for versatility, allowing for different ways of styling the Folco Cuir Triomphe bag.

Bigger, better, and with plenty of choices to love, this is the updated line of Cuir Triomphe leather goods from Celine.
