With over 300 different bags, SLGs, RTW and more officially launching today in Louis Vuitton’s huge collaboration with famed Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, there’s definitely something for everyone. With bags taking up the lion’s share in this line-up, it may be a tad overwhelming, to say the least. Can’t decide which one (or ones) will do it for you? We narrow it down to five dotted wonders worth doting on.

Right off the bat there’s the iconic Cannes (SGD8200). Taking inspiration from the artist’s Narcissus Garden installation in 1996, the 17 cm by 15 cm bag features a black Taurillon leather body. On it, dozens of mirror-finish metal half-spheres attached by hand and completed with a long shoulder sling.

For those who love anything monogrammed, the next two are worth a closer look. Everyone loves the Mini Pochette Accessoires, and now it is made even cuter with multi-colour dots. Priced at SGD1490, the 15.5 cm by 10.5 cm cutie is definitely one for the collectors.

Another classic is the Painted Dots Speedy Bandoulière 25 (SGD3850), a house staple as far as the style is concerned. Now even better with the smattering of colourful dots, this is the perfect weekend bag. Furthermore, complete with top handles and a long sling, it is also equally functional.

If you love the Speedy but want a smaller size, meet the Infinity Dots Speedy Bandoulière 20 that comes in embossed Monogram Empreinte cowhide leather. Coming in at SGD4900, its bright auspicious red can only bode well for the rest of the year.

Rounding up the list is the Multi Pochette Accessoires (SGD5250), another house fave. Besides coming in Monogram Empreinte leather, it also features a decent dose of white dots. The multi-use bag also gets enhanced with its own adorable pumpkin-shape charm that only appears on a small selection of bags. Intrigued? Head down to Louis Vuitton boutiques across the island to find out more, or just head online and let your fingers do the shopping.
