This exclusive design is created in Italy by Balenciaga artisans (and not as a custom project done in the ‘aftermarket’), where the entire Hourglass in suede calfskin is fully covered in rhinestones all over the exterior.

Yes, that includes the top handle, sides, base and ‘B’ logo hardware, as well as the adjustable leather strap, which are all given shiny crystals for that sparkly treatment. There’s just one size, for now, with the XS measuring 19 cm wide and 13 cm high.

Each bag opens via the studded magnetic closure to a black leather-lined interior, offering a delicate contrast against the rhinestone exterior. Need extra space? Balenciaga has allocated a small pocket at the back, perfect for moments when you need quick access without having to reach within.

Also a piece of art, just train a spotlight on it for those impromptu disco nights at home. Retailing for the princely sum of SGD7000, this is as extreme as it gets, and for Balenciaga that’s perfectly the norm these days.
